Monday Music Club 7/9/12 playlist

Interesting and fun night. Had two good requests from attentive listeners (What could be better?). The challenge with one of them was the Dean Martin request, which I had told the caller dated from the mid-60s. And I know the song, but I was off on the date, too, and when I heard it I said, "uh huh, 50s!" So, we went from early 1970s in the evening back to 1954, quite a jump.

So my nerdy little challenge was to try and connect dots back to early 70s after that. I don't think I was entirely successful, but I did appreciate the request! The Groundhogs were the second request of the night. I love the Groundhogs.

Anyhow, not quite strictly chronological (even under my own rules), but stuff made sense for the most part, I think.
