Monday Music Club 5-14-18

The idea for this show is to dig deeper into 60s/70s music, and I often throw some 50s music in at the beginning (one from '49 to start tonight). Plus, the playlist generally "moves forward" in time as the show goes on. The aim is to end the show in the late 70s/early 80s, but I find a lot of times the big sweet spot for me is late 60s/early 70s, and a lot of time is generally spent there.

This is a base playlist. There may be changes, additions, subtractions, rearrangements if I'm feeling creative in the booth.

My Sunday night show mainly skews toward newer music, and mostly doesn't reach back further than the 80s, so MMC is a nice outlet to focus exclusively on what I think is a very rich period for music that doesn't fit the flow of the Sunday Sampler. I enjoy it a lot!
