Hour 2—35 Years Ago: Billboard Hot 100 Spotlight, September 28, 1974

A mad dash through the Hot 100 from this week, 35 years ago, featuring: America, Cheech & Chong, Mac Davis, Fancy, First Class, Andy Kim, John Lennon, Dave Loggins, Olivia Newton-John, Billy Preston, and more!

Oh yeah, one more thing...seems as though next week will be my 'official' 200th Sunday Sampler. Nothing really all that different about next week's show, except I will be doing another Mystery Theme hour next week, and giving a prize away. The Mystery Theme hour is one where I just play the music without comment, and you connect the dots (AKA read my mind) and figure out what unique theme ties all of those songs together. I do believe it will be moderately difficult (it's my nature), but I sure would like to see a winner...and to do that, ya have to play...that's next week.
