Show #348--8/26/12

Sunday Music Club, v1 (1966-1970)

Simply transplanting my 60s/70s/possibly 80s timeline into a shorter timespan, from 4 hours (during my Monday show over the summer and on semester breaks) to 2 for the Sunday show. Going to try this on the last weekend of the month for a bit, and see how it goes.

I would normally span 10-15 years over a 4-hour show. Going down to 2 hours requires cutting that down, I think, so we'll go with 5 years, beginning tonight with 1966-1970. A rather loose timeline that may go back and forth, but those are the target dates.

Monday Music Club 8-20-12 playlist (Mostly 80s)

Program note: This is the last summer show for MMC, but I'm transplanting this format to the final weekend of each month for the Sunday Sampler. With 2 hours instead of 4 to play with, I'll chop the musical timeline down to 5 years.

So, if you're interested, this Sunday (8-10pm) we'll journey from 1966 through 1970. See you there.
