I admit that I missed the middle of the spotlight this week. "Heartbreak Hotel" is one of my favorite Jacksons songs, possibly *the* favorite. I'm surprised it charted at #25 - I always thought it was a slightly more obscure track. But then, I was also surprised when I went to an MJ memorial type event at a Baltimore radio station and there was a strong reaction of recognition when that cut came on.

Side note - the Triumph LP is phenomenal. I've long held that their Epic years are a seemingly forgotten treasure trove.
