Hour 2—Parlour Game: Echoes of Last Week

I hope most of my shows hang together reasonably well, but it's occurred to me more than once that sometimes my themes are somewhat obscure (like, 'why these songs?'). So it is with this week's theme, and I figured that the term "parlour game" would denote an unusually marginal theme, and one that more than likely edifies the host and only the host--though I hope the set is listenable enough. So anyhow...last week Jim filled in for me, and me brain started working as some of the songs he programmed reminded me of other similar titles, and as an added twist, I tried to include a number or number variant in each title, like Jim also did. That's reflected in the playlist below. Second hour songs are in bold, and Jim's selections (the original inspirations) follow in parentheses...Told you it was obscure!--Marc
