Monday Music Club playlist 6-11-12

The Monday Music Club is a 4-hour show (Mondays from 8-Midnight EDT) that follows a musical timeline; early in the show I generally explore early-to-mid 60s music and progress forward throughout the night. By midnight I’m usually in late 70s/early 80s territory. The idea is to sort of hang around with a specific musical “feel” or time period for a while, then move on.

Not everything listed here is strictly chronological; there are jumps forward and back in time in some spots, but I think overall the jumps are stylistically sound. And as you can tell by looking below, last night’s show started earlier in time than usual.

Here’s the Monday Music Club playlist from 6-11-12, warts and all (the warts come from me, but I don’t think there are too many of them). And if you want to hear a good bit of it, click the corresponding files to the right:
